Clean and serviced furnace. Tested/cycled unit. Noticed after a while of being on unit would shut off due to limit. Took thicker filter out and used a more breathable filter that customer had. System would still shut off on limit. Opened up plenum and inspected coil for cleanliness. Did not find anything that would block airflow on bottom of coil. System is an old York from 2002. 80%. The board is using a splitter for high on both heat and cooling, so no giving the motor anymore rpms. Given customer estimates for new furnace and new high limit switch. System is running however shutting off intermittently. Customer is considering options.

Commercial plumbing touchless faucet repair. Solenoid in control board under the sink was stuck open, probably clogged with debris from the water. Changed control with customer supplied part. The control board sends an electrical signal to the valve to open or close the valve, allowing water to flow when the faucet's sensors detect the user's hands.

Furnace repair. No heat call. Found the inducer motor was the only system working. A furnace inducer motor, also known as a draft inducer motor, removes combustion gases from a furnace and helps the furnace operate. Found pressure switch failed to open. Replaced pressure switch. A furnace pressure switch acts as a safety feature that automatically shuts down the furnace if it detects negative pressure, which indicates that exhaust fumes are not properly venting and could potentially backdraft into the home, protecting against carbon monoxide exposure and preventing dangerous situations. Heating system followed sequence and everything turned on. Noticed blower motor was sluggish to ramp up to speed. Tested capacitor and it was below acceptable range. Replaced blower motor capacitor. Blower motor turns on at normal speed now. Tested. Everything is in accurate working and system is heating the way it should now. Cycled unit 4 times.

Furnace repair and safety inspection. Cleaned and serviced furnace. Tested inducer motor, pressure switches, ignitor, gas valve voltage and pressure, flame sensor, blower motor amperage and capacitor. Inspect thermostat and heat exchanger. Found a faulty inducer motor. The important inducer motor runs a fan which provides air for combustion within a furnace and also pushes the exhaust gases out of the flue. Replaced furnace filter that customer provided. Everything else is in adequate working condition. The system is operating and heating as it should at this time. Customer renewed VIP maintenance program. One visit is being used today and she will have one remaining for 2025 cooling season.
